Ann Richards, the former Texas governor who brawled with W during their 1994 gubernatorial duel, will share her unique insights on the down and dirty style of Bush campaigning, why it worked for him yet again and implications for Democrats and progressives in future elections.

Joe Conason, the popular Salon columnist and best-selling author of "Big Lies," will discuss the real roots of the Iraq war, the ideological factions and corporate interests that have benefited from the Middle East adventure and how the Bush administration continues to keep the full truth from the American people.

Joe Wilson, the former U.S. ambassador who blew the whistle on President Bush's claims of an Iraq-Niger uranium connection -- and was rewarded for his honesty by having his wife's CIA cover illegally blown -- will lead a special panel discussion on the Bush administration's dangerous assault on the U.S. intelligence community, and the civil war that it has spawned between the White House and the CIA.

Michelle Goldberg, a Salon news writer currently on leave to write a book on America's culture war, will discuss the role of the religious right in the 2004 election, the success they've had reshaping America and their ultimate agenda.

David Talbot, Salon's editor-in-chief, will be leading a special panel discussion on the secret history of Salon. We'll discuss Salon's untold story and how it has weathered the wild ups and downs of the Internet storms to become an influential and independent media player.
